Is it to late to stand a chance in dance? hehe, that rhyms?
i’m 12 and i started taking a jazz/hiphop/ballet class last month. i’m pationate about dance and although i’m a beginner i’m making good progress with the advanced girls in my class(of course i’m not as good but i’m not awful either) and i love to dance and i practise everday and look forward to my class all week long. i’m seriously thinking about taking up dance as a career. i know the sacrafice it will be and i know how time consuming and enger consuming it is but i dont care. dance means more to me then anything and i wanted to know if i still stood a chance in pursuing dance as a career? i do realize that in catching up and trying to become a professional will leave me with very little actual life to live in the next few years, but to me dance IS life and i would be missing nothing
i can spell, i just have clumsy fingers and make typos but i hate using the spell checker cuz it takes 4ever with my stone age computer.

Michael Flatley was at most a year younger than you when he started, And he is doing pretty well at the present time. Just remember that it will not always be easy and some times you will be discouraged, listen to those that help. Every once in a while get the opinion of of other professionals and take to heart their suggestions, but use what works for you.
I did not start dancing until in my mid 20’s and while I will never be a Michael, I have taught dance classes to adults for over 20 years.
There is a paraphrase of a quote that I believe is credited to Henry Ford;
"If you believe that you can do something, or you believe that you cannot do something, then you are probably absolutely right".
So believe!
nothing is NEVER TO LATE if you wanna dancer let ur soul do wat it wants do let pllp brong you down!=]

Sabra Johnson, winner of So You Think You Can Dance started formal dance training when she was 16!
Believe me hunny, i WISH I could go back to 12 years old and start things!!!
If you are passionate about pursuing a dance career you have the next 5 years to take AS MANY dance classes as possilbe (AS MANY HOURS A WEEK AND AS MANY DIFFERENT STYLES) as you can then you can still go to major in dance, or go to a dance school or just go to start auditioning.
you are ABSOLUTELY not to late if you are REALLY willing to work at it.
Best of luck.
I think you have answered your own question. Go for it, but still make sure to have all the normal parts of growing up, you don’t want to miss out on those!
Sounds like you have answeered your own question.
If you are really passionate about it-which it sounds like you are then you do have a chance, you just have to never give up and work hard if you really want it. Just make sure it is absolutely what you want to do with your life think about all aspects of it because you might not end up liking.
girl you totally can! you have the absolute PERFECT attitude and approach. You can for sure catch up to the other girls, because I’m sure you’re trying 15x as hard as they are. You’ll get there, and your determination will pay off. Trust me. Just keep going yyyyeah dance!
hehe you cant spell
No, nothing is ever late to do everyone if just early! Go ahead and try!
