Dancing question. Group of people dancing in a circle to music at a party?
I was at a party last night. It was a girl around 18’s party. She and her friends were all in a huge circle dancing to the techno and facing forward. No one would jump into the middle of the circle and dance/show off. It was the most curious thing. Is this typical of this generation? What is the point? I’m certain it is a new trend, what is supposed to happen. Everyone just stands there and dances to the music looking at each other? It was like something more was supposed to happen. Someone do explain this to me.

yea … um, dat isn’t a new trend! show downs or, like wat u’ve sed, dance/show off are very usual in parties! actually, we do dat stuff at our class break at school, so … dat isn’t a new thing! um, you form a circle ’cause everyone wants to see wat’s happenin’ inside of it … ofcourse if you’re in a circle, many more ar able to see whom are performing at the center! um … actually, it’s like a contest … the person who stays more at the center of the circle, gets or WiNS the attention of the people … obvious! hehe. em … if you want, you can also dance at the center and perform … but you must get others attention, or else … you better go and leave. XD
(it’s like when you go to see a fight … you know … tribes, ecc.)
* i hope i gave you a lil’ of help. ^^ (sorry for the wrong english grammar … ain’t fluent!)
I’ve seen that and it doesn’t make sense.
haha yeah dude. well how did the circle form. usually when a circle forms it’s when someone sees someone else dancing really good and they go oi check this out. then a circle forms around the person that is dancing really good. once that person is done showing off then it’s someone else’s turn to go in the middle and show off until no one else wants to go in the circle then everyone just goes back to dancing.
you shoulda went in and bust a move
